Allana Ferguson bio
Allana was chosen to be a part of Australia in the Rugby Sevens 2013, but subsequent knee injuries kept her out of the game. It took a few years for Allana to get back in rugby league. Allana played in her first union rugby game for women that was played by New South Wales as she was the main focus of the match that was played against Queensland. Allana has also added radio to her repertoire making regular appearances with the highest-rated Continuous Call Team on 2GB. Allana holds a professional teaching certification outside of sports. Allana Ferguson enjoys the rare privilege of representing Australia in three distinct sports events: Rugby Sevens as well as Rugby League and Touch. Allana Ferguson is a Jillaroos' rugby superstar and a fourth-time tear in the ACL was forced to end her career in football. Ferguson injured her ACL four times before, at ages 15, 17 and 20. The fourth time she did it, her career was over. Ferguson, JILLAROOS' playmaker was removed from early from the squad after suffering an ACL tear in the left side for the fourth time. Ferguson has confirmed to The Courier Mail that she was injured during training in the month of November. Ferguson has been the face of women's Rugby League for several seasons.
