Morgan was featured in a short film that was about AIDS education and prevention. Safe Sex for Men and Women. Part of the proceeds were donated to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She is part of the Entertainment Industry's AIDS Task Force. Morgan is part of the entertainment industry's AIDS Task Group. She also has led many other fundraising projects in the fight against AIDS and has testified before a special Congressional committee on AIDS Education. Morgan is a member of the Board of Governors of APLA as well as Amfar's Board of Directors. C. Everett Koop, the former surgeon-general of Canada has requested that she replace him in a few occasions at AIDS associated events. Additionally she hosted an AIDS Awareness Special together with Steve Bell. She has appeared twice on Nightline alongside Ted Koppell regarding AIDS. Morgan is nominated to be an Emmy recipient for her role in Diane English's Murphy Brown Special Episode written specifically for Morgan. Morgan co-starred on ABC Television's Your Money or Your Wife during the spring season with Joan Rivers. The summer started with Murder At The PTA Luncheon. It was directed by Von Zerneck/Sertner. It also included Cindy Williams & Marla Gibbs. Her next project took Morgan to Luxembourg and she was a part of the cast in the role of Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady in the production of Harmony Gold. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee were also featured. Morgan played the main character in a thriller about psychological issues that was exclusively produced by the USA Network. It received one of the best ratings ever recorded by the network.
